With over 21 years at IG Private Wealth Management, Vesa brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at a bank-owned full-service investment dealer and a privately owned financial services company.

Vesa specializes in working with high-net-worth families, business owners, retirees, and those nearing retirement. Leveraging his 26+ years in the industry, he offers expert guidance on intergenerational wealth transfer, tax-advantaged income strategies for business owners and incorporated professionals, and smart charitable giving.

Outside of work, Vesa enjoys boating and backpacking in the summer, curling in the winter, and supporting his kids at their soccer practices and swim meets year-round.

Amanda has been with us since 2012, bringing over 25 years of client service experience. Raised in Calgary, Alberta, she moved to Victoria in 2000 and worked in the luxury hospitality industry before joining our practice.  

Amanda is your first point of contact for the team and can assist with account information, beneficiary and address updates, scheduling meetings, document management, and tax slips. She is a natural people person and continues our tradition of providing an excellent experience to each client. If you're unsure who to contact on the team, reach out to Amanda first.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys hiking with friends, visiting family in Calgary, cooking, travelling, and paddling. She was a competitive Dragon Boat paddler for over 10 years.

Prashant began his journey with us in 2023, quickly developing a deep understanding and enthusiasm for the industry. Born and raised on the beautiful island of Mauritius, he travelled halfway across the globe to Edmonton to obtain his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Alberta. He worked in the pulp and paper industry in northern BC for a few years before moving to Vancouver Island.

Prashant works with high-income professionals, clients planning for retirement, and affluent families. He is the resident expert in our interactive planning software and helps support our clients with trade orders, update meetings, and in building investment and financial planning recommendations.

Outside of work, Prashant spends his time with his wife and their dog exploring the island. He also loves to travel and to watch and play soccer.
